USB Memory Sticks introduced to MuzeMusic UK

USB Sticks have been added to the MuzeMusic UK database as a new format. Included on the database is Keane single 'The Night Sky', the debut album 'Not Here to Please You' from new rave group Hadouken, and the re-released Rolling Stones compilation 'Rolled Gold+'. Twelve releases are currently featured on the database.

Commenting on the releases, Muze's music editorial manager James Wilkinson commented: "USB Sticks is a new format in a market dominated by CDs in the last 20 years. Their advantage over CDs is their memory - whole back catalogues can be stored on one USB as EMI have just done with their 4GB Radiohead release. There is also more flexibility with the shape and packaging. Plus there is the ability to store your own files and use as a normal storage device."

50,000th title added to the Video channel

The 50,000th new title was added onto the database this week. Fittingly it was the legendary film director Robert Altman's final film, "The Prairie Home Companion". Altman who died late last year, directed many acclaimed films, including "The Long Goodbye", The Player" and "Mash", so it is a fitting tribute for his closing film to be a landmark entry for Muze.
